BBA HAPAS

(British Board of Agrément Highways Authority Product Approval Scheme)

Our 14mm Maxphalte® SMA Thin Surfacing System, for both manufacture (all coating plants) and installation, is BBA approved.  Certificate No. 03/H085

Our Special Products Team is approved by the BBA as installers of Prismo's Zebraflex Standard and Type 1 High Friction Surfacing Systems.  Approved Installer Number 3586.

FEMAS

(Feed Material Assurance Scheme)

Covers our Carmean Limeworks which produces crushed and ground limestone product for the animal feed industry.  Compliance with FEMAS is an essential requirement and demonstrates that all necessary steps are being taken to avoid contamination of supplied product in order to eliminate any potential hazard getting into the human food chain.  Compliance with the scheme is independently assessed by Product Authentication International (PAI) Ltd.  Certificate No. 33697

Safe-T-Cert

Our Safety Management System (HSMS) is also accredited to Safe-T-Cert.  The certification process includes an annual independent audit of our whole HSMS, with additional site inspections undertaken for site-based works.  Safe-T-Cert takes account of ‘best practice’ guidelines of relevant national and international bodies including the ILO.  Safe-T-Cert is a recognised system under the Build Safe initiative in Northern Ireland, and the Construction Safety Partnership in the Republic of Ireland.  Safe-T-Cert certification is subject to annual verification by way of an audit and random inspections.

All ready mixed concrete production depots are accredited under the Quality System for Ready Mixed Concrete(QSRMC) Certificate number 009.

The dividion's safety management system in respect of roof tiling services is accredited to Safe T Cery as veified annually by the Construction Employers Federation.

Safe T Cert is a recognised management system under the Build Safe Initiative in Northern Ireland and the Construction Safety Partnership in the Republic of Ireland

National Federation of Roofing Contractors

The Division is a member of The National Federation of Roofing Contractors which requires it's members to comply with recognised standards of performance in roof tiling services and to adopt best practice in all aspects of this activity.
