The superior performance of the Farrans Construction team in the construction of the new Belfast Model School for Girls has just been recognised with a Construction Employers Federation(CEF)/Specify Magazine Construction Excellence Award in the Infrastructure : Education Category (2010).
The new £25.6m school covers some 14,900m3 and a large part of it’s facilities are also available to the local community in north Belfast including a computer suite, crèche and beauty salon. Other facilities include an enhanced sports hall, two synthetic sports pitches and an elevated running track. The Farrans team also sourced, provided and installed all furniture and equipment for the school to deliver a turnkey solution.
Farrans also won two other 2010 Construction Employers Federation(CEF)/Specify Magazine Construction Excellence Awards.”
