Safety Sam Pays A Visit

Safety Sam visited the children of Barrhill Village Primary School on the 23rd June 2010 prior to their break-up for the summer holidays. With the School being only 1 mile from the entrance to Farrans' Arecleoch Windfarm Development, it was important that the dangers associated with construction sites and traffic were communicated to the children.
As part of the visit, the children were shown photographs of the site and asked to draw their own pictures - the best of which would win a prize to be given out on their prize day on the last day of term.
The drawings were split into age categories for judging, with the winning entrant being presented with a Nintendo DSi and game by Martin O'Neill and Matt Dickson on behalf of Farrans.
