Five projects recognised at the Considerate Constructor Scheme National Site Awards 2013
Five of our projects were recognised for their ‘exceptional standards of consideration shown towards local neighbourhoods and the general public, the workforce and the environment’ at the Considerate Constructor Scheme’s National Site Awards 2013. Any project registered with the Scheme is eligible to win a National Site Award providing that the project has completed on or before 31st December in the previous year. Award winners are selected from the top performing 10% following a review of the projects by an independent panel.
Winning a National Site Award is a remarkable achievement, recognising projects that have made the greatest contribution towards improving the image of construction, and we are delighted to have been recognised for five of our projects as follows:
Bronze Award: Abberton Scheme –Lot 3 Pipelines;
Bronze Award: Lakeside Phase I
Bronze Award: The Skainos Project
Silver Award: Bangor Aurora Leisure & Aquatics Complex
Silver Award: Fife Supply Demand Balance
These awards acknowledge the hard work and efforts of our delivery teams who have ensured that we are continuing to improve the image of construction in line with the five points of the Code of Considerate Practice:enhancing the appearance; respecting the community; protecting the environment; securing everyone’s safety; and caring for the workforce.
