Preferred bidder status at Clydesmill Fire Station Cambuslang

Farrans Construction has recently been awarded preferred bidder status by Strathclyde Fire and Rescue for their new Clydesmill Fire Station, Cambuslang project.
The project, which is valued at £3.3 million and will commence in May 2010, is scheduled to be completed in March 2011. The new Clydesmill Fire Station will merge the services currently provided by the existing Parkhead and Cambuslang Fire Stations.
The site is situated off Westburn Road and is located within the boundaries of the site designated for theStrathclyde Fire and Rescue's new purpose-built training facility.
