Coloured Bitmac
Northstone has recently extended its product range with the addition of coloured bitmac. Coloured bitmac is made with quality aggregates which are carefully selected to match the desired colour, together with a blend of colour dyes and Shell Bitumen's Mexphalte CŪ synthetic clear binder
The new coloured macadams greatly extend the palette of surface finishes available to the client, specifier or architect. The aggregate grading is based on BS 4987 0/10mm close graded macadam.
The colour match that can be achieved is admirably shown in the photographs of the buff coloured material recently laid at Lisnagarvey Hockey Club, near Hillsborough, County Down. The entrance area blends in well with the new club building, leading the eye from the car park to the club house.
