Decorative Chippings for Asphalt
Northstone stock a variety of natural decorative chippings. We also manufacture chippings coated with pigmented binders. Pigmentation is used to enhance and reinforce the aggregate's natural colour. (Product illustration scale bar = 1cm)
This type of chipping is principally used to chip asphalt surface courses for roads, cycle tracks and footpaths, though they can be used loose. The binder coating helps ensure chipping retention. When carefully selected to match the surrounding area, decorative chippings can be particularly effective in enhancing the overall look of any landscape or townscape.
